There are 2 ways you can see how many text messages you have used through the current month.
1. Method 1: Checking Your Monthly Statements (Easiest and Best)
1.4. Click the drop down Icon in Statement Summary box
If you want to check for other months, be sure to update the Statement Month, as highlighted in yellow.
2. Method 2: When You Are Creating or Edit a Blast Campaign (Accounts for current usage AND includes total possible usage AFTER your text blast gets sent)
2.6. See Your Current Usage Total
- The first number of the Quota ratio, as highlighted in Green represents the sum of your current monthly total AND the number of texts set to be delivered to your list(s) in the current blast campaign. So if you had already sent out 230 messages in the current month, and the # of people who would receive this blast campaign was 200, this would account for the total usage of 430 messages sent once the campaign blast has been executed. Due to database latency, you may discover some minor variations between the number of people in your list and this report. This way you will know BEFORE you send your blast in you will exceed your monthly allotted usage. Please keep in mind that the 2nd number is the HARD cap quota and that you may incur additional overage charges beyond what is included in your existing plan. Please see NOTE below.
- NOTE: Your plan quota, as highlighted in Yellow, may be LARGER than the amount of Text messages that are included in your pricing plan. For example, if your plan includes 1000 text messages, you aren't charged any fees for any text messages you send for up to 1000. If you send out more than 1000 text messages or your included allotment, our system will allow you to exceed your plan's usage, but at your agreed overage rate. As a protective measure, you may have a Hard Stop usage quota, to ensure there isn't any abuse, or unexpected charges to your account. In this example, the Hard limit is 2000. So in this example, the first 1000 messages are included in the plan, any messages from 1000 to 2000 would be at an overage rate charge, and once the 2000 limit has been reached, the system won't allow any more message to be sent and you would need to submit a support ticket if you needed more messages to be added to your account, or to upgrade to a larger plan. You can always see how many text messages are included in your plan by looking at your monthly account statement.
